Cameras
Camera selection is made easy with flexible options to fit all environments. Thanks to our partnership with Ambarella, a leader in high-definition video compression and image processing, we are able to provide cameras with all the necessary components to function in the cloud.
Using Ambarella’s middleware and basic SDK, each camera is equipped with a 3rd layer of firmware enabling cloud access and management.
This firmware includes 3 primary components:
CMS Library- The Camera Management Service library handles all communications with the CMS server and any direct communication with the client. VCS Library- The Video Cloud Service library handles the upload of event metadata, images and video to the cloud. IVA Library- The Intelligent Video Analytics library provides triggers for event generation such as intrusion detection and camera tamper detection. Libraries are included in the camera firmware but also available separately.

Cloud
At the heart of the video cloud solution, reside the all-important cloud servers. We take security and reliability very seriously with thousands of users accessing our cloud with 99.9% up-time. These servers provide the bulk of services within the video cloud solution.
Video Cloud Services Allow for camera connection to servers and authentication for upload of event metadata, images and video. Security and Session Services Grant access to authorized users and securely handle data exchange. Validate each user with a unique session key complete with timed expiration. User Management Services Provide the ability to create and manage users with web portal integration. Alert Management Services Manage and generate alerts for mobile phone and web browser clients including Apple Push Notification service and Google Cloud Messaging. Camera Management Services Overcome Firewall/NAT issues common for all devices in a network. Provide the ability to seamlessly communicate with cameras, exchange control data for bandwidth throttling and facilitate P2P streaming. Keep track of all devices and provide status and availability information on each device. Additional Features:

Mobile
The core benefit of any cloud service is accessibility. Whether you are at home, the office or on the go; what you need is in reach. When it comes to selecting a device, we designed with flexibility in mind. Smart phone applications include iOS and Android but also available is an HTML5 web client for any other kind of device (Windows phone, Blackberry, PC). Users can create and manage accounts, configure cameras, view live and recorded video and much more. Mobile applications can be customized to fulfill each partner’s needs.
We also accounted for practicality. Just because you have the ability to access information anywhere and at any time does not mean you want to be bothered with constant updates or feel the need to check in every hour. Thanks to our alert management services in the cloud, users can set notifications to their liking and only be bothered when something important is taking place.
